Physical Education & Sport
Dear Roxburgh Park Primary School Community,
As we bid farewell to another fantastic term, I am thrilled to share some remarkable achievements and exciting plans from our Physical Education department.
Athletics Carnival Triumph: Our recent Athletics Carnival was a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our students. At the Meadow Heights International Athletics Track, 11 of our talented students proudly represented Roxburgh Park Primary School at the District Championships. Their outstanding performances and relentless effort were nothing short of inspiring. Notably, two of our students have progressed to the Regionals, showcasing their exceptional athletic prowess. Congratulations to all participants for an amazing effort!
Hotshots Tennis Team: Our Hotshots Tennis Team has been training diligently under the guidance of our esteemed coach, Mr. Ly. Their commitment and passion for the sport have been truly commendable. I'm delighted to announce that our girls' team is progressing to the next stage, a testament to their skill development and teamwork. Well done, team!
Upcoming in Term 4: In the coming term, we have some exciting events lined up. Our Rugby Gala Day promises to be a day filled with spirited competition and sportsmanship, providing our students with the opportunity to showcase their rugby talents.
Additionally, our swimming lessons program at Splash will ensure that our students are not only safe but confident in the water. Swimming is a valuable life skill, and we are committed to ensuring our students develop the necessary skills to enjoy the water safely.
Here's to an exciting and active Term 4! Stay tuned for more updates on our school's physical education journey.
Warm regards,
Ryan Smith
