Open House Melbourne 2026: Generous City
The Open House Melbourne Weekend on Friday 24 and Sunday 26 July 2026 celebrates good design by opening up buildings, places and spaces, inspiring public engagement in conversations about the future of our city.
The Weekend 2026 theme, Generous City, explores how design, creativity and architecture can foster a culture of openness, offering space, care and possibility to the people who live, work and play here.
Open House Melbourne is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates for good design and empowers citizens to be active participants in the building of their city. Our annual program of talks, tours and events explore issues, challenges and success stories of Melbourne’s built environment.
The Open House Melbourne Weekend 2026 invites us to rediscover our city—to seek out new places and to reconnect with old favourites.
