Gratitude Nominations
Our Year 6 student leaders have introduced a new Gratitude Nomination initiative to recognise kindness and encourage positive behaviour across our upper primary community.
When students notice someone being thoughtful, helpful or kind, they can speak to their teacher and request a nomination form. Students will explain the act of kindness before completing the form, ensuring each nomination is meaningful.
Teachers can also nominate students when they witness positive actions. Completed nominations are placed in the Gratitude Box located in the gym foyer.
Winners will be drawn at our next assembly and will receive a prize. We look forward to celebrating the everyday acts of kindness that make Saltwater such a positive and welcoming community!
Term 3 Lunchtime Clubs
Our Year 5/6 student leaders are excited to offer a range of indoor and outdoor lunchtime clubs throughout Term 3. These clubs give students opportunities to try new activities, connect with others and enjoy a fun and inclusive break time.
Each day offers something different:
Monday: Puzzles, chess, board games and outdoor games
Tuesday: Coding and ball games
Wednesday: Chill and Create and ball games
Thursday: Construction and skipping
Friday: Yoga, Just Dance, music and dance
Indoor clubs will be held in the gym foyer, while outdoor clubs will run in the locations shown on the timetable. We encourage students to get involved and try something new!
