VCE VM Students support Mental Health through Beyond Blue Fundraiser

As part of our commitment to applied learning and community engagement, the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) students organised a Beyond Blue Fundraiser on July 3rd to raise awareness and support for mental health.

The event was a powerful show of solidarity, with Mr. Shelly and Mr. Miller bravely shaving their beards, and students Daniel B. and Hudson M. stepping up to shave their heads in support of the cause. Their actions demonstrated courage and dedication to starting conversations around mental health.

We chose Beyond Blue as our fundraising partner, inspired by the organisation’s ongoing work to provide support and resources to Australians experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Our goal was to encourage open conversations and remind everyone that it's okay to speak up and seek help.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Highvale community, we raised over $1,200 on the day.
