Regional Athletics Finals 

Congratulations to all 36 of our students who qualified for the Northern Metropolitan Regional Finals held last Wednesday the 4th of September at Meadowglen Athletics track in Epping. Conditions were sunny but super windy, and our team competed in great spirits over the course of the day.  

Results are linked below, but we are very proud to announce that Melbourne Girls’ College finished on top of the points table at the end of the day – and that’s despite only being able to compete in half of the events! An amazing effort from you all! 

Special thanks to Ms. Exner for all the work you do in organizing these events, and to Olivia Thompson and Matilda Roberson who were invaluable on the recorders table for the day. Lastly thanks to Ms. Carre and Ms. B for coming along for the ride, and good luck to all of you that are heading on to State Finals next term!
