Year 12 Report

Term 1 has come to an end, and it’s time for our Year 12 students to enjoy a well-balanced break—one that includes schoolwork, part-time jobs, sport, and relaxation. It is crucial that students stay up to date with their studies and are fully prepared for the start of Term 2 on Monday, 20th April.
Year 12 Formal
The Year 12 Formal was a fantastic success, with students dancing the night away. We hope you’ve had a chance to view the short video from the night on our social media platforms.
Year 12 VCE VM
Our VCE VM students also led a highly successful week of Harmony Day activities. They planned and delivered a variety of activities at both KWRSC and St John’s Primary School. Activities included face and arm painting, hair styling, arts and crafts, origami, Chinese checkers, Finska, photo booths, powder bombing teachers and more. There were also milkshake sales, a raffle and BBQ.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 12 VCE VM students for the enthusiasm and hard work they put into making Harmony Week such a success. They should be commended for the mature and professional way they conducted themselves, while also developing their social awareness, interpersonal skills, teamwork and leadership, and making a positive impact on the community.
Throughout the term, we have had the pleasure of recognising numerous students with awards that reflect our College values of Connection, Growth and Respect. Students with excellent attendance have also been acknowledged, and all recipients should be incredibly proud of their achievements.
A goal for Year 12 this term was to also limit lateness both to school and to classes. We are pleased that students have taken this on board and made more effort to ensure they are on time. This, in turn, improves all students' learning.
We hope you have had a chance to review your child’s recently released progress reports. Overall, we are pleased with the results and encourage students to continue striving for their personal best. We will have 1-on-1 chats with students in Term 2 to discuss their progress and needs moving forward.
