Vermont Secondary College
As the end of the school year and the upcoming holiday break approach, we kindly remind all families to collect any student medication stored at the First Aid Centre.
Collection Date: Medication must be collected by Thursday 18th December from the First Aid Centre.
Medication Types: This applies to all stored medications, especially Epipens and Anapens, and any other prescription medications.
Check Expiry Dates: Please check the expiry dates on all collected medications before the break. E.g. if an Epipen/Anapen is expiring in January 2026, it is only valid until the last day of that month (January 31st).
Return: Set a reminder to return any Epipens/Anapens or prescription medication on the first day of Term 1 next year - Wednesday 28th January 2026.
Documentation: Provide any updated Action Plans or medical documents and inform the school immediately in writing if the student's medical condition changes.
Students will be unable to attend school events, excursions, or camps without the required up-to-date medical forms and specific emergency medication, such as an Epipen. The school cannot guarantee the safety of students without the necessary medication and documentation, meaning they will not be permitted to participate in any off-site activities until all requirements are met.
Any new documents can be email to the First Aid Centre directly on 8420-FirstAid@schools.vic.edu.au
We hope you have a lovely school holiday, and we look forward to supporting students again next year!
