JUNIOR SCHOOL | Update

Dear Parents/Carers, Students And Friends

Term 2 has provided students with a wide range of enriching learning experiences and co-curricular opportunities.

Students have demonstrated outstanding participation in the House Athletics Carnival and Cross Country events, exemplifying strong school spirit, resilience, and teamwork.

Year 7 students have also participated in interschool sport, Drama incursions, and French incursions, all of which have extended learning beyond the classroom.

Production rehearsals are now well underway, with students demonstrating commitment, collaboration, and creativity in preparation for upcoming production, 'Mary Poppins'.

We also acknowledge the respectful participation of students in ANZAC Day assemblies held earlier this term.

The recent Parent Student Teacher Student Conferences were a significant highlight, with strong attendance from families. These conversations are vital in supporting student learning, growth, and goal setting. We thank families for their ongoing partnership and engagement.

This week, all Junior School students completed the annual Attitudes to School Survey during Optima classes. This survey is conducted across all Victorian Government schools and provides students with an important opportunity to share their perspectives about their experience at Frankston High School. All responses are confidential. Student feedback is carefully reviewed each year and contributes to ongoing school improvement across learning, engagement, wellbeing, and school culture. Students are encouraged to reflect on their overall school experience when completing the survey.

Our 2027 Year 7 School Tours have concluded, providing prospective students and families with an opportunity to experience the learning environment and culture of Frankston High School.

We wish all Year 8 students attending the Rubicon Camp next week an enriching and successful experience. We encourage students to embrace the opportunity, challenge themselves, and support one another throughout the program.
