HOSTING AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
We are currently seeking local families who may be interested in hosting an international student.
If you are able to provide a safe and supportive home environment, including a private bedroom and general care, we offer a reimbursement of $385 per week to assist with associated costs.
Hosting an international student is a rewarding experience and a wonderful opportunity to engage in cultural exchange.

HOSTING A STUDENT FROM OUR JAPANESE SISTER SCHOOL
Frankston High School is currently seeking host families for students visiting from our Japanese sister school, Kawaguchi Kita High School, as part of our long-standing 38-year reciprocal exchange relationship.
The students, who are in Years 10–12, will visit from Friday 24 July to Saturday 1 August 2026 (8 nights) and are excited to experience everyday Australian life, including:
- family dinners
- sport
- shopping
- spending time with friends
- normal school life
This opportunity is open to any student who studied or studies Japanese that is currently enrolled at Frankston High School.
No Japanese language ability is required. The Frankston High School Japanese Team will provide support and guidance throughout the hosting experience. Our visiting students want to experience everyday Australian life.
We are hoping to finalise host families by Friday 12 June 2026.
