Congratulations Josh!

For the last few years, MECS has joined the Rotary Primary School Speech Competition, and the last 2 of those have been hosted in our own lovely Theatrette. This has been a wonderful addition to MECS’ extra-curricula opportunities and a chance to showcase our school. 

This year, Joshua (Year 6) was placed first at the initial round, which meant he was to present again at the Grand Finale! Josh received second place! The event was held at Doncaster Secondary College Performance Centre on Wednesday evening, where there was a total of 13 speakers. 

A huge congratulations to Josh for his achievement! He receives a generous voucher and the chance to once again present his amazing speech, ‘The Superpower I would like to have is…’
