Year 5’s Christmas Market Extravaganza

We would sincerely like to thank all the MECS families who supported the Year 5 Christmas Market this year. What a generous lot you are! Over $4400 was raised, which will be donated between: Montrose CFA, Stable One (providing food and shelter) and Gawa Christian School student Christmas gifts.

We are very proud of the Year 5 students who have worked tirelessly all term to produce a beautiful market containing delicious goods, creative crafts, fabulous raffle prizes, interactive games and activities. There really was something for everyone to enjoy, and they certainly did! Every stall was a flurry of activity with students and visiting adults participating and generously purchasing. A special thanks to our Year 5 parents for their support and encouragement. Our students have learned valuable business management skills through this rich, hands on learning experience.
