State Swimming Championships
Monday 19 April
Super proud of our amazing state swimmers! Check out their outstanding results below!
- Eve A – 2nd in 50m Freestyle and 3rd in 100m Freestyle
- Will P – 3rd in 50m Freestyle and 4th in 50m Butterfly
- Keegan B – 4th in 200m Freestyle and 7th in 100m Freestyle
- Louis S – 4th in the 50m Freestyle and 5th in 50m Butterfly
- 17 girls freestyle relay team (Emily G, Eve A, Alice S & Gemma H) – 5th
- 17 – 20 girls medley relay team (Annabelle A, Edie W, Gemma H & Eve A) – 8th
Congratulations to Annabelle H and Edie W (Year 12 students) on their final swimming event for the college, and a big thanks to Gemma H, Alice S and Emily G for stepping up at the last minute to compete in the relays!

Regional Swimming
Monday 25 March
An incredible display of talent by our students at Regional swimming, finishing 5th overall! Huge applause to Eve A, Keegan B, Kiara M, Louis S and Will P for clinching first place in their events and securing a spot in the State Championships next term! Not to forget our two relay teams representing the college who broke the Female 17yo Freestyle Relay Record for the Southern Metropolitan Region (SMR)! Special shout-out to Eve A for smashing TWO SMR records! Go Beaumaris!

Year 8 Boys Volleyball Division Final
Friday 22 March
Well done to our Year 8 Boys Volleyball team on a fantastic run all the way to the Divisional Final against McKinnon. The boys had an excellent term developing their fundamentals and using their communication skills to craft effective plays. While we did not get the win, the boys' effort and energy all term was contagious and continued to promote The Beaumaris Way! Go Beauy!

Intermediate Girls Volleyball
Congratulations to our Intermediate Girls Volleyball teams! After a term of dedication and hard work, our A team secured a well-deserved 3rd place, while our B team triumphed with an exciting 2nd place finish!

Intermediate Boys Volleyball
On Monday 25 March, 16 Intermediate level boys represented BSC in volleyball. Both the A and B teams were very competitive, winning two matches each and coming close to beating the highly fancied McKinnon Secondary College. The participants included: Ashton C, Arley H, Angus M, Wesley M, Gabriel T, Oskar V, Harry C, Rhys F, Ted H, Harrison R, Lewis T, Harvey K, Joel L, Jye H, Nate J and Kaelan B. Well done, all.

Intermediate Girls Tennis
The girls won 3 out of 4 matches in their pool, placing them second. They then played against the second-place team from the other pool and were able to win giving us a third-place finish overall. The girls all had a great day and should be proud of the way they represented the college.

Congratulations to Beaui A team for battling their way through Pool B to reach the 4th place playoff, although narrowly losing out to Brighton. Your determination was truly inspiring! A huge shout-out to Beaui B team for their outstanding performance, going undefeated in the round-robin event. Your hard work and dedication paid off, showcasing the true spirit of tennis excellence!

Year 7 Girls Volleyball Division Final
Tuesday 26 March
Our Year 7 girls volleyball team was able to beat both Sandringham and Westall in close matches to win the division title! They will compete in the Southern Region finals next term. Well done team!

Congratulations to our Year 7 boys Tennis team for their outstanding performance, securing second place behind McKinnon! A special shout-out to the Desmond twins for their powerful hitting leading the team to success!

Year 7 Girls Softball Division Final
Tuesday 26 March
Our Softball girls battled it out against Sandringham and McKinnon in a three-way final. We finished second overall, beating Sandy, but losing to McKinnon. The girls played brilliantly, taking turns at a range of different positions on the field. Well done!
