Exploring Indigenous Heritage
Our students embarked on a captivating journey through the ancestral lands of the Kulin Nations, guided by First Peoples. Immersing in rich history and culture, they uncovered traditional uses of plants for food, tools and medicine. With a visit to the Queen Victoria Market, students forged connections with local farmers, enriching their understanding of indigenous ingredients and practices. A valuable experience linking directly to Unit 1, Area of Study 2.
