Voice of Vocational Major!

The students of VCE Vocational Major are continuing to take on new challenges as we head into Term 2. Building on the success of Term 1, the students are looking forward to working with the local community and Bayside City Council to review the role of young people in the Bayside area. They will review the Bayside City Council’s 2050 plan and determine what role the Bayside youth have in their plan and whether their voice is being effectively heard.

On Tuesday 30 April, the VCE VM students will also be working with the Beaumaris Conservation Society to help clear weeds and scrub that have taken over the parklands behind the school. The students will be donning their long sleeve tops, pants, heavy duty gloves and glasses to ensure they can tackle the infestation of blackberry plants and other unwanted plants.
