ART

Term 3 in the Art Room

There has been plenty happening in the Art Room this term. Students have enjoyed working with Mrs Scanlan, exploring different materials and developing their artistic skills. It has been great to see their creativity and the variety of work being produced across the school. Thank you to Mrs Scanlan for all her work with our students this term.

Foundation Art

Our Foundation students have been busy exploring an "Under the Sea" theme in Art with Mrs Scanlan. They created colourful sea creatures using drawing, collage and wool, experimenting with different textures and materials along the way. The finished pieces have made a fantastic display and are a great example of the creativity happening in the Art Room this term.

Year 1 String Art

Our Year 1 students have been busy exploring "string art" in the Art Room. They have been planning their own designs and experimenting with how lines can cross, overlap and connect to create interesting patterns.

Students began by sketching their ideas and thinking carefully about colour, shape and placement before working towards their final designs. It has been great to see the concentration and creativity on display as they bring their ideas to life. We can't wait to see, well done Year 1!
