School Drop Off and Pick Up Times

Supervision of students in the morning before school commences at 8:30am from Monday to Friday.  This is the time where the school's duty of care for the children begins.  Prior to 8:30am, duty of care rests with parents and carers.  It is not possible for students to be supervised by staff prior to this time as staff are busily engaged lesson preparations, meetings, etc.

Supervision after school is available between 3:00pm and 3:15pm.  Staff wait with the children in the pick-up area near the shade sails, outside the office.  Here they supervise the children waiting for their parents, making sure they enter the car safely.  Parents are asked to pick their children up by 3:15pm, as this allows staff to then attend meetings, tidy their rooms and prepare for the following day.

If your children require supervision outside these times, Out of School Hours Care is available at CIRE on Little Yarra Rd, just a short bus ride from St Joseph's.  Parents wishing to enrol their children in Out of School Hours Care are able to find out more by visiting the link below:

COVID in the Community

This is news that none of us want to hear but we have COVID circulating in the community again.  This is really disappointing as we have had a relatively clear year this year with very few cases, compared to previous years.

We still have RATs that are effectively detecting case, despite being a month or two out of date.  Should you wish to collect some from the office, call by any time or ask your children to call by and collect them.  We have plenty in stock.  We are no longer being provided with RATs by the government so I'm afraid these are the only ones we can offer.

A reminder to keep children home if they are unwell and test if displaying cold/flu symptoms.

School Fees

Fee statements have been sent out to families.  All fees are due in full by Friday 1 December.  Please contact me at the office if you need to discuss school fees.

Student of the Week Award Presentations

Student of the Week Awards will be presented at our Monday Morning Assembly next week.  Due to Swimming, our afternoon assembly will not be taking place.
