Science Week Student Competition Winners!

To celebrate Science Week for 2026, students in Years 7-10 were given the opportunity to submit an entry into the Science Week Student Competition. Students were required to relate their work to this year’s theme of:

Seeds of Science – Nurturing for All

Congratulations to the following students for their stellar work. They have each won a $10 canteen voucher!

• Charlie McDonald, Year 9, exploring water molecules in her baking
• Lisa Lees, Year 7, creating a painting of the Northern Lights
• Molly Hughes, Year 7, capturing the essence of an expanding yet lonely universe in her poem
• Valentina Palmeira, Year 7, likening the mind to a plant in her poetry
