Sports Update 

Welcome back Vermont SC! We look forward to another fantastic year of sport! 

We also welcome Sports Trainee Nikayla to the team who will be working alongside Ms Malander and Mr Gillespie this year.

Junior Swimming Carnival

Families are reminded that consent on Compass must be complete prior to the swimming carnival. On the day, students are required to go to their period 1 class to get their name marked on the roll. Students cannot board a bus without their class and their teacher.

The weather forecast is looking to be great. Students are encouraged to wear their house colours and get involved in as many events as possible!

Sport is a fantastic co-curricular program for all. There are many opportunities each term for students to participate and take on volunteer positions coaching and as student helpers. Our term 1 round robin sports include cricket, tennis, volleyball, softball (girls) & baseball (boys/mixed). 

Students are encouraged to sign up on the sheets provided outside the sports office!

2/3        Waverley Division Swimming – Oakleigh Recreation Centre (students must qualify)

6/3        VSC Athletics Carnival – Bill Sewart Athletics Track (whole school event)

10/3     Waverley Division Year 7 Round Robin

18/3     Waverley Division Year 8 Round Robin

25/3     VSC Cross Country – Bellbird Dell (self-nominated students)

30/3     EMR Swimming – Aquanation (students must qualify)
