                                                        Choir and Concert rehearsals!!!

Recording some speaking parts last Sunday for our upcoming Concert! Thank you to parents for getting their children to school on their ‘call times and a HUGE thankyou to Mr Jeremy Cass for giving up his Sunday to help me! 

The school is buzzing with talk of the whole school concert ‘Vintage Vinyl’, August 18th and 19th at MPAC Loyola College (6pm-8pm). I am so proud of the effort all classes are putting in to be ‘the best dancers! I have written ‘Vintage Vinyl’ as a celebration of music from the 1900’s until the end of the 1960’s. Students are learning about ‘Ragtime’, ‘swing’, ‘blues’, ‘R&B’ and ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’! We are also learning about ‘how’ people listened to and saw music from these eras. Students are looking forward to seeing my record player and learn about records (vinyl) and how they work! 

All students now know what concert night they are on (They came home last week with a #1 or #2 on their hands. If you are unsure, have questions or had your children on different night (sorry!), please let me know asap and I will fix it. Thanks again to Mrs Penny Allibon for doing this huge job!
