On Wednesday, 7 May, grades 4/5A, 5/6A, 5/6B, and 5/6C came together for a fun-filled, flavour-packed Multicultural Day lunch that had everyone’s taste buds dancing! The Palace was buzzing with excitement as students brought in delicious dishes from their unique cultures, each plate a little story of home.

From spicy curries to savoury dumplings, sweet pastries to refreshing salads, every dish was a window into the rich variety of backgrounds that make up the school community. There was a vibrant spread of colours, smells, and tastes, each dish as inviting as the next. Kids eagerly swapped food stories, shared recipes, and even tried new dishes they’d never tasted before. It wasn’t just about eating—it was about celebrating diversity and learning from each other in the most delicious way.

Laughter and chatter filled the air as the children came together to enjoy a meal that reflected their rich cultural heritage. The multicultural lunch was more than just a feast; it was an opportunity for students to appreciate one another’s backgrounds, creating memories that would last far longer than the yummy treats they enjoyed. It was a day full of fun, flavour, and friendship!
