Hello and welcome to this edition of our fortnightly newsletter.
Well, I'm so delighted to be here at our grandstand with the completed artworks that have been designed and painted and installed by our visual arts and practice students together with our mural artist Joel.
We could not be happier with the outcome, and I highly recommend going for a walk along the park, the walkway at the back of the school oval so you can have a really good look at the entire piece of work.
Without the P&C and their support, we cannot achieve these amazing pieces of large artworks around our school. And this is the second one we've achieved over the last couple of years.
As part of our master plan for our school, our students, our parents, and our community gave us feedback that they really wanted to make our school more inviting, full of more colour, to create a sense of belonging and connectedness to the school. So, we are thrilled that our eight house mascots are represented in this amazing piece of art.
We look forward to our country cross country that's coming up as our next big whole school house event where our students can sit amongst this amazing art and enjoy not only sport but the culture of house spirit and the visual art that our students have designed for us.
Until next time, see you later.
