Girls Football KO Round 3

3 from 3! Shout out to the Wolverines who closed out the term with a WYN in round 3 of the football KO. The girls came out firing but a well-organized Greystanes HS didn’t make it easy this time around. However, the girls persevered and Sienna put two on the board before half time followed by goals from Abby and Elise for a 4-2 victory and a ticket to round 4.

Kaylen Tweedie CHS Swimming

Shout out to our resident aquatic Wolverine Kaylen Tweedie who last week competed at her last NSWCHS state swimming championships. In her final state swim as a high school student, Kaylen came away with a bronze in the 17+ 400m freestyle.

Congratulations Kaylen.

Blacktown Zone Cross Country

Shout out to the Wolverines who competed at the Blacktown Zone Cross Country carnival held at Wyndham last Friday. The boys and girls had an amazing result on home turf with 7 students placing in the top 10 and qualifying for Sydney West later this term. 

Congratulations to Sydney West qualifiers: Lachlan, Max and Kaiden in the 18+ boys, Charlotte and Helen in the 18+ girls and Byron and Xavier in the 17+ boys and to all our other competitors. 

A special mention also to our junior academy coaches whose professionalism and organization made the day a success. Thank you also to Zaiyisha and Ella from Year 12 for their amazing photos of our talented Wolverines.

Sydney West Netball Trials

Shout out to Charlotte Cousens and Alivia Sillars.

These girls were selected to represent Wyndham as part of the Blacktown Zone Netball team that competed at the Sydney West Netball Trial last term.

CHS Selections

Sienna Corsiatto & Olivia Harrison

A huge shout out to Sienna Corsiatto and Olivia Harrison who gained selection to Sydney West teams to compete at NSWCHS championships this term.

Olivia Was selected as a member of the girls Rugby League team to compete next week in her home region of Sydney West.

Sienna was selected as a member of the Open Girls Touch Football team competing later this term in Nelson Bay. Sienna is the first girl from Blacktown Zone to be selected as a member of the Sydney West team in over 10 years.
