YEAR 12 NEWS

It has been a very busy start to Term 2 for our Year 12 students. Some key reminders for students and families include:
- The Term 2 Assessment Block
This week, many students received notifications for Assessment Task 3 from their class teachers. The assessment blocks for this term will take place during Weeks 7–9. We ask that students and families carefully note these dates to ensure that holidays, trips, or planned leave do not clash with assessment schedules.
We understand that sometimes circumstances arise that are beyond our control. If there are any concerns regarding assessment dates or attendance during these periods, please communicate with the school as early as possible by contacting the classroom teacher, Head Teacher, or myself.
- Parent-Teacher Night: Tuesday 12th May: 3.30-6.00PM
Parent-Teacher Evening will be held on Tuesday 12th May. We are excited to welcome families and students to meet with staff to discuss academic progress and student achievement. This evening provides a valuable opportunity for Year 12 families to speak directly with teachers regarding their child’s progress and any additional support that may assist students as they continue through their HSC year. Bookings remain open and can be made via the Sentral parent portal.
- NESA Confirmation of Entries
Students are now able to complete their Confirmation of Entries online. All students were sent an email with details regarding this process. It is very important that students do not confirm their NESA entries unless all details are correct, including their full name, address, date of birth, and enrolled subjects. If any details are incorrect, students should come to the office to collect a NESA Entry Change Form before completing the confirmation process.
Finally, a reminder to all students that full school uniform is expected each day. Wearing the correct uniform is important not only for maintaining school standards and pride, but also for student safety and identification within the school community.
We thank all families for their ongoing support during this important stage of the HSC journey.
