Ride2School Day

National Ride2School Day Friday 21st March!

 

We had a fantastic 2025 Ride2School day last Friday, with over 100 students wheeling to school! The students received lots of fruit throughout the day thanks to a very generous donation of fruit from Balwyn Woolworths! We had plenty of grapes, apples and bananas for students to snack on, after they rode to school in the morning and at recess time.

The highlight of the day for many students was riding around the oval and synthetic courts at lunch. It was great to see so many scooters, bikes, roller skates and skateboards taking over the school. 

Thank you to Jane (Yining's mum), Julie (Heather's mum), Melissa (Ruby, Evie and Harry's mum) and Sangeun (Bodam and Sodam's mum) for helping to cut and hand out fruit in the morning and making sure everyone went home with the right bike/scooter at the end of the day! We also want to thank the Year 6 students, who greeted our cyclists and wheelers at the school gates, with stickers and instructions.

We hope to see lots of students continuing to wheel and scoot to school!
