PE Focus

The 3/4's have been working on their football skills the last few weeks. We have worked on the fundamentals of side foot passing, receiving with the side foot and dribbling using the inside of the feet.

To compliment the learning drills, students have applied their skills in a game of number football which produced some interesting results and laughs along the way.

Hopefully the joy of football has been sparked with these lessons!

Regie Cup/Inter School Sports

We have concluded our inter school sports for Term 1. We had some tough fixtures against Balwyn North, St Bedes and St Clements of Rome. As usual 'you win some, you lose some' but not once have I been let down by our sportsmanship and positivity over the last month. Congratulations to all students who participated and played in such a spirit. I am eagerly awaiting Term 2's sports - Tee Ball, Netball, Football and European Handball!

Students involved in 'Regie Cup' have been steadily earning points for their respective houses. A mix up during inter school sports resulted in a cricket team arriving to B.Park with no team to play. I would like to thank the following Regie Cup students who stepped in last minute to form a makeshift team to play against Balwyn North PS.

These cricket superstars were - Joshua, Nethnu, Molan, Micah, Asa, Andray, Baron, Janson, Yuvaan and Eric

They will be receiving a bonus 20 house points each for their houses!

Regie Cup has led to more points being awarded below:
