Attendance & Engagement

Attendance and Engagement – Finishing the Year Strong in Term 4
As we enter Term 4, the final term of the school year, we encourage all families to continue prioritising regular attendance and engagement in learning.
Every day at school matters. Consistent attendance provides students with the opportunity to build on their learning, maintain friendships, develop positive routines and feel connected to their teachers and peers. As Term 4 approaches, there is still a great deal of important learning, celebration and growth taking place across our College.
Being at school is about more than being present – it is about being engaged. Students who attend regularly are better able to participate in classroom learning, contribute to discussions, complete learning tasks and take part in the many experiences that make up school life.
Term 4 is also an important time for students to reflect on their progress, celebrate their achievements and prepare for the year ahead. Maintaining good attendance and positive learning habits helps students finish the year with confidence and a strong sense of accomplishment.
We understand that illness and unexpected circumstances can sometimes affect attendance. However, where possible, we ask families to support their child by ensuring they arrive at school on time and attend every day they are well enough to do so.
As a community, we thank our families for partnering with us to support regular attendance, positive engagement and successful learning.
Let’s make Term 4 a wonderful final term of the school year and ensure every student has the opportunity to be here, be engaged and finish the year strong!
