John XXIII Netball Club
We were fortunate to have three of our qualifying teams secure a spot straight through to the Grand Finals on 19 September. These teams will enjoy a well-earned rest this Saturday while the remaining finals are played. I will share all Grand Final match details following this weekend's Preliminary Finals results.
Unfortunately, our Year 8 Peridot and Alumni 2 teams were knocked out of the finals series after nail-biting matches, falling short by just a few goals. Despite the results, both teams played exceptionally well and represented the club with great determination and sportsmanship.
We also celebrated three fantastic wins from our Year 7 Sapphire, Year 7 Jade, and Year 10 Amethyst teams, who have all progressed to this Saturday's Preliminary Finals.
A standout performance came from Year 7 Jade, who battled to a thrilling two-goal victory in overtime after the scores were tied at full time.
A big thank you to everyone who came down to support the teams last Saturday. Your support means a great deal to both the players and the Club.
We'd love to see as many supporters as possible this weekend as these three teams battle for a place in the Grand Final.
