– Madame Emily & Monsieur Paul, French Teachers

From French poetry to dress ups, find out what's happening at school this term.

Berthe Mouchette French Poetry Competition

Congratulations to all students who participated in the Berthe Mouchette French Poetry Competition. Monsieur Paul and Madame Emily were impressed with your dedication in learning your poems and rehearsing with us at lunchtime. We have high hopes for some more finalists this year!

The results will be announced on Friday 6th June and the finals will be held online via Zoom on Sunday 15th June.

Bastille Day – coming soon!

We are excited to announce that PMPS will be celebrating Bastille Day on Wednesday 2nd July (Week 11). The day will be filled with French food, crafts, sports and film activities.

Everyone is invited to dress up in French-inspired costumes which can be as simple as wearing bleu, blanc or rouge (blue, white or red). Students are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation to support the valuable work of Médécins Sans Frontières (MSF). MSF translates to Doctors without Borders, which provides medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare.
