What an exciting week it has been for our Music Department as we bring our production of Legally Blonde to the stage!

On Monday and Tuesday, our talented cast performed special matinee shows for our primary school students, as well as students from Rosanna Golf Links and Rosanna Primary School. It was wonderful to see the excitement and enthusiasm from our younger audiences as they enjoyed the energy, humour and music of the show.

The excitement continued on Wednesday evening with our first public performance, marking the beginning of our evening shows and closing night is all sold out.

A huge congratulations to our cast, band, crew and the many staff and students who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring Legally Blonde to life. Their dedication, creativity and passion have truly shone through.

Year 8 Battle of the Bands – Tuesday 15th September

Next Tuesday, all Year 8 students will take part in our Year 8 Battle of the Bands. Students will perform in small groups as part of their assessment task, giving them the opportunity to showcase their musical talents, teamwork and creativity to their peers. We look forward to seeing our Year 8 students take to the stage and support one another throughout the day.

Drama Excursion – Wednesday 16th September

On Wednesday 16 September, 38 Drama students will head to the Comedy Theatre to see the acclaimed musical Six. This exciting excursion will provide students with the opportunity to experience a professional production and further develop their understanding and appreciation of musical theatre.

Solo and Small Group Performance Evening – Thursday 17th September

On Thursday evening, we will host our Solo and Small Group Performance Evening, celebrating the hard work and dedication of our talented Music students. Students will perform solo pieces and small group works, providing a wonderful opportunity for families and the wider school community to enjoy an evening of live music and support our performers.
