Sport

It has been another fantastic term of participation, competition and achievement across our sporting programs. We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and commitment our students have shown when representing the school at local and regional competitions.
We are excited to celebrate our Grade 4–6 Girls Soccer team taking out the Grand Final in style!
After going down 1-0 early in the semi-final against Heidelberg, our girls showed incredible heart and resilience, coming back firing in the second half to secure a sensational 3-2 victory.
They then faced Banyule in a tense, nail-biting final. With everything on the line, they slotted a dramatic late winner in the second half to seal a 1-0 victory and bring the trophy home!
So proud of the determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship shown by all the girls. Macleod is on top!
On 9 September, nine students represented our school at the Northern Region Track and Field Athletics competition. We are very proud of all students who competed and demonstrated great sportsmanship and determination throughout the day.
We are also excited to celebrate the achievement of Cooper who won both triple and long jump and has progressed through to the Track and Field State Finals, which will be held on 16 October. We wish him all the very best for the upcoming competition!
