Junior School

It has been a busy and exciting end to Term 3 in the Junior School, with plenty happening across Years 7 and 8 as we head towards a well-earned break.
Legally Blonde – The Musical
A huge congratulations to all of our Year 7 and 8 students involved in the school production of Legally Blonde! It has been fantastic to see so many Junior School students contributing to the production, both onstage and behind the scenes. School productions require an enormous amount of commitment, teamwork and courage, and we are incredibly proud of the way our students have represented the Junior School.
We hope everyone involved enjoys the experience and has a fantastic time bringing the show to life!
End of Term Celebrations
We have a fun final couple of weeks ahead of us!
On Tuesday 15 September, Years 7 and 8 will participate in our End of Term Celebration Day, including an Inflatables Incursion run by Proactivity. This will be a great opportunity for students to celebrate their hard work throughout the term and enjoy some time together as a year level.
Our Year 8 students also have Battle of the Bands on Tuesday, which is always an exciting event and another great opportunity to celebrate the talents of our students.
A reminder that Term 3 concludes on Friday 18 September, with students finishing early at 2:20pm.
Year 8 Camp – 7–9 December
We are also looking ahead to the Year 8 Camp, running from Monday 7 December to Wednesday 9 December.
Families are reminded to please log into Compass to provide consent and complete payment for the camp. We are really looking forward to finishing the Year 8 students' time in Junior School with a fantastic camp experience together.
A Few Important Reminders
As we approach the end of term, we ask families to continue supporting students with our everyday school expectations:
- Chewing gum is not permitted at school.
- Students who are out of uniform must report to the Junior School Office to obtain a uniform pass.
- Students who are late to school/class three times within one week will receive a lunchtime detention. Being on time helps students start their day positively and ensures they are not missing important learning and information.
- Families are encouraged to account for any absences/lates via Compass.
Thank you to all of our students, families and staff for your support throughout another busy term. We are proud of the work our Year 7 and 8 students have put in and the many ways they have contributed to our school community.
We wish all of our Junior School students and families a safe, happy and relaxing school holiday break, and we look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for Term 4!
