Primary Report

Term 3 has flown by as we all look forward to the Spring school holidays and the fine weather we hope they will bring. We will celebrate our term’s work with our Primary assembly next Thursday at 2:30pm.
Next Thursday will be Footy Day for the Primary students and they are encouraged to wear their team colours. We have some Year 11 students joining us for some footy skill activities which will be happening after our Footy Day Parade after morning recess. The highlight of the day will be our free sausage sizzle lunch provided by our OSHC provider, Their Care. A big thank you to Mark for organising this for our school.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mark for his unwavering support of the school and our appreciation of the connection we have with Their Care. Mark provides a wonderful program that supports and nurtures our kids in both before and after school sessions. He is well-liked by us all here at Macleod and we look forward to see what he is offering in the upcoming Holiday Program.
Huge congratulations go to our Girl’s Soccer Team who took out the grand final last week for our network. We are very happy to celebrate this success, and we are very proud of you all. Thank you to all our year 4/5/6 students who have represented our school proudly this term and demonstrating our school values so strongly each week. We often get good feedback from the teachers from other schools about how well our students conduct themselves at sport.
I hope you took the opportunity to attend the school’s musical, Legally Blonde this week. The students and staff are to be commended on their incredible work to put together an amazing show. Special mention goes to our Primary students, Pepe and Indi, who were outstanding in their roles. Well done girls, you have amazing talents.
I am continuing to conduct school tours into term 4 as we have quite a bit of interest from new families to see our wonderful little school and what we have to offer. We are currently taking enrolments for 2027, so if you are yet to enrol for Prep or any of the year levels please don’t delay, let your neighbours know, also as this will help us to plan for our classes for next year. Alternatively, please let us know if you have plans to leave us at the end of the year, so that we can firm up our numbers.
