Young Leaders Reception

Excellent work by the ‘The Sustainability Project team’ who presented their project ‘A Month of Mindful Living: Ditch the Shopping’ at Student Leaders Reception Bunjil Place on the 27th of March 2025.  They aimed to encourage other school leaders to protect the environment by promoting a month of ‘no shopping’. They showcased the planning, promotion, and implementation of their work at KWRSC which led to 212 staff and students take a pledge against excessive consumerism. They presentation was well received by an audience of over 200 students from all schools of Casey. 

Youth Leadership Conference 

KWRSC School Captains attended the Secondary Youth Leadership Conference at Melbourne Exhibition Centre at South Wharf. They heard from many leaders and pioneers such as Fiona Sanford, Wil Massara, Noah Yang, and Natalie Suleyman (Minister for Youth of Victoria). The captains were also able to network with students from other schools.
