YR 8 BOYS SOCCER 

On Thursday the 15th of August, our Year 8 boys soccer team travelled to Casey Fields to participate in the SMR competition. In our first game we came from 1-0 down to draw 1-1 against Albert Park. 

In the next match, we showed great skill to win the game by a couple of goals against Carwatha. In the final game of our pool, we beat EMC 6-0. Luckily, we had let one less goal through than Albert Park which meant we got to face Kambrya in the grand final. 

The boys tried their hardest to come back from a 1-0 lead and with 30 seconds to go, we had a shot that hit the post. Unfortunately, that was our last play of the game.

Congratulations to the whole playing group on their efforts, it was great to see our training sessions having an impact. We're looking forward to the inter competition next year!
