YEAR 9 - Community Projects 

This term has been a hive of activity in the MYP. Year 9 students have been busy with their Community Projects and this week each group or individual presented their project to a panel of teachers. 

It has been wonderful to see and hear the variety of community organisations students have been engaging with and the positive difference they are making in our community.  Some of the organisations have included Family Life Mt Eliza, Mornington Shire Council, The Salvation Army, Mt Eliza Neighbourhood House, local feeder Primary schools, kindergartens and more.

‘I like having an impact on others and helping people’

‘I didn’t realise how much fun it would be volunteering’

‘It was a good feeling knowing we were trusted to go out into the community and help others’
