Faith Matters at
St Francis Xavier School
Dear St Francis Xavier Families,
What a smooth and happy start to the 2026 school year!
Welcome back everyone, and a special welcome to our new Prep families and also to the new families with children in other year levels.
I returned to SFX last Friday and was delighted to be personally greeted by many of the children who were keen to say hello and tell me about their holidays. I also caught up with some of our families during the break when I was out shopping so thank you to those of you who stopped to chat.
Friday Morning Whole School Prayer
I was so pleased to see that we had quite a few parents who joined us for Whole School Prayer last Friday morning. I was even happier to see a couple of mums dancing along to the song at the end! This term we will try to facilitate Whole School Prayer every second Friday and will always confirm it's happening with a school text notification. I acknowledge that you may not be able to participate but please know that all families, Catholic and non-Catholic, are always welcome, even if it's just a one off time.
Our next Whole School Prayer will be on Friday, 13th February, 8:45 - 9:00am.
