Hakea House

Hey everyone, I'm Mridula C, your SRC Representative for Hakea 11. 

This term has been fantastic for Hakea! We've been actively participating in various events and we have even more exciting ones coming up. We're proud to announce that we placed third in Athletics and truly brightened up the arena with our vibrant colours!

The Push-Ups Challenge had a significant impact on our school community and it’s heartwarming to see us come together to raise funds for mental health. We have additionally as a House, brainstormed some innovative ideas to fundraise for The Smith Family, supporting disadvantaged kids in Australia. So keep an eye out for our posters around school!

Let me share a quick update on what's happening in Hakea. Our attendance has been improving significantly, thanks to our creative initiatives like lending sports equipment to students during snack and lunch, organising small in-House competitions and running lunchtime games and activities.

On top of that, the incredible participation in Chorales shows our passion for uplifting school spirit. We can't wait to celebrate the night together and look forward to seeing everyone there! Good luck and may the best House win!
