Year 3C

We are finishing off Term 3 after a fabulous and very busy term filled with learning, swimming, Book Week, Busking for Change, and lots of wonderful memories along the way. What a fantastic term it has been!

Recently in Mathematics, students have been learning to classify, describe and model 3D shapes. They explored faces, edges and vertices and used different materials to build and model a range of 3D shapes.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Book Week! Students enjoyed listening to a range of shortlisted picture books and sharing their thoughts and favourite stories. Our dress-up day was a highlight, with everyone looking absolutely fabulous in their creative and colourful costumes!

Students have been learning how to write and punctuate dialogue. They created their own comics, using speech bubbles to show characters talking. Students also had lots of fun using funny animal pictures as inspiration to create their own silly and imaginative dialogue!
