VCE Art & Design Exhibition

Students, their families and staff recently celebrated the work of our VCE students at the annual VCE Art and Design exhibition.

The VCE Art and Design exhibition is the culmination of a year of hard work and student commitment to their study of the arts. The work exhibited recognises a selection of the brilliant work our students deliver.

To acknowledge the work of exceptional students the Art and Design domain has provided two awards. The people’s choice award for 2024 voting provided a clear winner in Matty Mrksa of Year 12. Congratulations Matty for his outstanding animation Gun Knight.

The domain staff also acknowledge the work of committed students who have consistently worked hard to produce outstanding work. These awards have been given to one student who has studied Design and one student who has studied Art. 

The recipient for the design award is Lily Mullan of Year 12. Lily’s Visual Communication Design folio delivered a rebranding of the Story Dogs organisation. Xanthe Simpson of Year 12 is the recipient of the Art award. Her work entitled I won’t let you make me jaded explores the tension between societally imposed expectation and the real self.
