Peter & the Wolf

In Term 3, the University High Orchestra performed Prokofiev's classic Peter and the Wolf to local primary schools. Playing to over three hundred people, our talented students illustrated the instruments of the orchestra through this timeless piece, with narration by Piyush Pemmaraju. 

The event involved collaboration between teachers and students in all schools, and has built connections between UHS and the wider community. For many students it was their first time seeing orchestral instruments, and their first time visiting their future high school. 

A huge thank you to all the staff and students who worked to make this such a success.
