What's new in books this Autumn

The new books keep arriving and I've had to fast track some for easter reading! I encourage book suggestions from staff and students..........one of the great joys of being a school librarian is getting everyone to read,  so what better way to achieve this than buying them what they want! Below is a snapshop of a few 'in demand' purchases :) 

NEW look CLickView ..

ClickView is an amazing platform full of information for teachers and students alike. It also has one very impressive Movie and TV collection that is worth taking a look at. It is host to many TV series & Movies that might not be on a streaming service anymore or you have to  pay for them; it is well worth a look. There is also a Koonung platform where you can watch past plays held at the school which is pretty cool as they're for our eyes only!

Library monitors 

The library is lucky enough to have not one, not two but three library monitors who have been doing exceptional work in the library for the last few years. They're always happy to give me a hand above and beyond their duties and regularly man the library desk on their own.  I thought it was well overdue that they receive some praise so I organised Library Monitor badges, congratulations !
