Principal's Message

Dear Parent and Carers,

I would like to begin by warmly welcoming all our students back to the College for Term 4. There is already plenty happening as we embark on the final term of 2026. It has been wonderful to see students return with a renewed sense of focus, enthusiasm and commitment as they make the most of the opportunities ahead.

This week, I had the pleasure of commentating the World Cup Soccer finals on Wednesday, with Spain taking out the title in a thrilling 3–2 victory over Norway. This brought to a close a fantastic tournament that began in Term 3 and continued to build momentum, excitement and an enthusiastic following across the College. Congratulations to all the students who participated and contributed to making the competition such a memorable event and thank you to our dedicated staff for making it happen.

Today, Friday, 17 of our Year 10 and 11 students, accompanied by 3 staff members, departed for Japan to visit our sister school in Yaei. This is an exciting opportunity for our students to immerse themselves in a different culture, strengthen international connections and create lasting memories. We look forward to hearing about their experiences and following their adventures over the coming weeks.

Next week marks the final official week at the College for our Year 12 students as they prepare for their upcoming exams and the next chapter of their lives. On Tuesday, we will celebrate their journey with our much-anticipated Hat and Tie celebrations, followed by a special assembly bringing together our Year 7 and senior students. It will be a wonderful opportunity to recognise the achievements, growth and contributions of our graduating students as they approach this significant milestone.

Term 4 is already shaping up to be a busy and exciting term, filled with activities, events and important milestones across the College. I encourage families to regularly check Compass notifications and review the upcoming dates in each of the sections of this newsletter to stay informed and up to date with everything happening in our College community.

As we look ahead to the weeks remaining in the year, I encourage all students to stay focused, embrace the opportunities available to them and finish 2026 on a positive note. I wish our Year 12 students every success in their exams and look forward to sharing the many highlights and achievements of Term 4 with our College community.

Sincerely,
