INTERNATIONAL | Student Spotlight

I want to take a moment to spotlight on one of our international students, Peter Trinh, who has been doing some incredible things both at school and in our community.
Peter joined the Mornington Peninsula Badminton Club earlier this year and quickly found his place in the club. At first he came along as a social player, but it didn’t take long before he started giving back in bigger ways. He volunteered his time as the club photographer, capturing some amazing action shots that you might have seen on their social media. From there, he got more involved on the court, and by April he was even helping to coach, which has now become his first official role as an assistant badminton coach. What an achievement!
He’s also competed in his first regional tournament and continues to share his ideas, energy and encouragement with everyone around him. Whether behind the camera, on the court, or just chatting with his teammates, Peter has become a much-loved member of the badminton community and of our school.
What I love most about Peter’s story is how it reflects the things we value at Frankston High School. His excellence in giving his best, his aspiration to keep learning and growing, his community spirit in supporting others, and the values of respect, responsibility, resilience and empathy that he lives every day.
Congratulations, Peter you’ve made us all proud!
