SENIOR | School Update

Dear Parents/Carers and Students
As I write this, our Year 12 students are completing their final Unit 4 assessments and beginning focused revision in preparation for their VCAA end-of-year examinations. For our students, these commence with the Languages examinations on Monday 6 October, followed by English and English as an Additional Language on Tuesday 28 October, and continue through until Wednesday 19 November.
Meanwhile, 80 of our Year 11 students are preparing to head off on Saturday 13 September for an incredible trip to Central Australia. Many students reflect on this trip as a highlight of their time at Frankston High School. We wish our students and staff a safe and memorable experience exploring the beauty of Central Australia. A special thank you to the dedicated staff attending, led by trip coordinator Mrs Jodie Burton and supported by Ms Jas Rabinov, Mrs Tina Thomas, Ms Ginger Parker, Ms Leonie Argiriou, Ms Sienna Robson, Mr James Cameron, Mr James Arshid, Mr Sam Webster, and Ms Melody Westlake.
Our students studying a Unit 3/4 subject will also be completing important practice examinations during the September school holidays. These provide invaluable preparation and feedback ahead of the final VCAA exams. Thank you to our Year 12 teaching team, who continue to work tirelessly to support students to achieve their personal best, alongside the Year 12 Coordination Team — Ms Brittany Harvey, Ms Kelly Mitchell and Ms Kate Burgess.
