Celebrating Our Students

This term has been filled with so many moments of pride and celebration. Congratulations to all students involved in our school production, Chicago. Your talent, hard work, and creativity lit up the stage and inspired us all.

Congratulations to our Senior Percussion Ensemble who placed 3rd in the Under 20 Instrumental Group category at the Royal South Street Percussion Eisteddfod in Ballarat

Pillar Awards

At Frankston High School, the Pillar Awards recognise students who consistently demonstrate the values and qualities at the heart of our school community. These awards celebrate students who embody our pillars of Excellence, Community, and Aspiration, as well as the values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, and Empathy.

  • Excellence Award: Presented to students who strive for continual improvement, show determination in their learning, and maintain high personal standards. It recognises persistence, accountability, and the ability to overcome challenges with a positive attitude.

  • Community Award: Awarded to students who actively contribute to the school and wider community. These students demonstrate empathy, kindness, teamwork, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

  • Aspiration Award: Given to students who set meaningful goals, work hard to achieve them, and inspire others through their ambition and dedication. This award highlights perseverance, growth, and a passion for learning and personal development.

Year 10 Formal

Our 2025 Year 10 Formal is almost sold out! The event will be held on Friday 17 October, and tickets are selling fast. If you would like to attend, please secure your ticket as soon as possible via the Compass event page for full details

 

Please note that only Year 10 students with a confirmed ticket will be admitted, and parents/carers must provide written confirmation of transport arrangements prior to the event.

Year 9 News and Congratulations

  • Social Perspectives Excursions – Term 4, Week 4: Year 9 students will have the opportunity to experience Melbourne’s rich culture, from its food and history to its sport and art. These excursions will inspire students to create projects celebrating the unique identity of our city. Further details will be shared early next term, with planning to take place in the Year 9 Optima Pastoral Care program. FHS Flames

Attendance Matters

Regular attendance underpins learning success, routine-building, and peer connection. Our expectation is a minimum of 90% attendance for all students.

  • 100% Attendance recipients will be invited to a lunchtime celebration.

  • Students with <90% attendance will be supported with redemption sessions.
