EnlighTEN- Program

EnlighTEN  Core Program 

Students build essential foundational skills through ability-streamed English and Maths, complemented by core studies in Science, Humanities, Health, and Physical Education. 

This comprehensive core curriculum is paired with 

Art/Tech:  Students develop hands-on problem solving, design thinking, and creative expression by engaging with practical mediums and modern technologies.

Elective Component Students tailor their learning journey to personal passions and career pathways by choosing specialised subjects across diverse learning areas, with the option to undertake fast-track or specialisation subjects to accelerate their studies.

Key Terms

Key Learning Areas (KLA) = This includes all the learning areas as prescribed by VCAA and currently offered by the college to all Year 10 students: Mathematics, English, Humanities, Science, Art/Technology, Health and PE

Area of study = These are the semester length electives offered by each of the KLAs for students to choose from.

Prerequisite Study Units = Refers to units that students must complete to meet a pathway requirement from the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority
