A note on Term 3 sport
Our JSSATIS basketball participation was our biggest yet, with seven teams entered across the Years 3/4 and Years 5/6 rosters. It was incredible to have so many students representing St Mary’s College in one of our basketball teams!

SSATIS basketball finals
Congratulations to our Year 7 SSATIS Basketball team, SMC Nano, for making their grand final last Monday 23 September. Although they missed out on the win (going down to MacKillop College), our players gave it their all and should be commended for their outstanding performance throughout the season. The team's coach, Kate Cunliffe, shares her feedback below:
All the girls played a fantastic season finishing top of the ladder. The growth within the team was evident and they should all be so proud of their efforts.
It was a close final, but we just couldn’t quite get over the line. We missed two of our girls due to State Basketball commitments but know they would have been cheering us on. Bring on next year!
