Welcome back to Term 3!

Here at the Roxburgh Community Hub, we strive to bring the members of our community together, by offering engaging classes for you to learn and develop new skills and through volunteering at Breakfast Club or whole school events such as the Father's Day stall, which will be held later this term in September.

The Community Hub is open three days a week-Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

All classes are FREE!

Come on in and join a class.

EVERYONE is WELCOME!

Access to the Community Hub is via the gate near the Staff Carpark.

Call 0406 217 602 if the gate is closed and a friendly staff member will come and open it.

Here's the Term 3 Timetable:

Our Term 3 programs:

English - Mondays 9:15am to 11.15am

Our English Teacher, Meral, will help you learn English in a safe and supportive environment. This class offers opportunities for you to engage in practical everyday conversations in English.

We have FREE childminding during English classes.

Sewing for Life - Wednesdays 9.30am to 11.30am

Come along and learn how to sew with Gamze, our sewing teacher. If you are a novice, Gamze will teach you how to thread a sewing machine, cut out your fabric pieces and sew them together.

If you have a project in mind, bring along your materials (fabric, thread etc) and she will help you make it!

(Sewing machines are available for you to use at the hub)

What's New-Huddle UP!-Wednesdays 12.00pm to 1.00pm

Bring your exercise mat, dress in your leisure wear and join Nabiha in a WOMEN'S ONLY gentle exercise class.

Playgroups-Mondays 1.00pm to 3.00pm(New Group) & Tuesdays 9.30am to 11.00am

Come along, join our playgroup faciliator Samar and sing songs, play games, paint, create and enjoy quality time with your child. This is an excellent opportunity to learn through play and build your child's early literacy and numeracy skills.

Playgroup is now located in Room 19.

Toy Well Library-Mondays 1.00pm to 3.00pm & Tuesdays 9.30am to 11.00pm

This is located in the Playgroup room(Room 19)

Community Pantry-Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only

Our Community Pantry is open during class times. Food items such as Milk, Vita Brits, Weeties, Cheerios, canned fruit, soups, tuna and rice packs, dahl, honey, vegemite and other seasonal products are available.

Please bring your own shopping bag and speak to Himanshu.

Whole School Breakfast Club/Healthy Start Breakfast Program-Open every morning-8:30am to 8:50am

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it refuels your body and gives you energy to start your day. All students are encouraged to come and enjoy a healthy breakfast before starting school every morning.

Breakfast Club is located at the big gym.

Volunteering opportunities now available!

Here at the Community Hub, we are always seeking volunteers!

We currently need volunteers for our Breakfast club and helping at the Father's Day stall.
