Principal Report

Welcome back to Term 3!
I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable holiday break. We have an exciting 10-week term ahead with many fun excursions, camps and events planned for our students.
Staff Introduction - Jamielee Black
I will be the Acting Principal for the first four weeks of Term 3 while Natalie Talbot is on leave. I will be working closely with our leadership team and staff to ensure a positive and smooth start to the term for all students. I am delighted to be joining the Roxburgh Park Primary School community and look forward to getting to know students and families. I look forward to meeting you all over the next few weeks and wish everyone a fantastic Term 3.
Attendance
Every Day Matters! If your child misses one day of school each week that equals eight weeks of missed school over the year! It’s important that your child attends school regularly to ensure they are progressing both emotionally and academically. A reminder that school begins promptly at 8:50 am each day. It is important that your child arrives on time so they don't miss valuable learning at the start of the school day.
Parent/Teacher Interviews
A big thank you to all parents, guardians and students who attended Parent/ Teacher Interviews at the end of Term 2. Parent/ Teacher interviews are an important opportunity for families and teachers to connect and work together to celebrate the progress and achievements made throughout the year.
100 Days of Prep
Our Prep students recently celebrated their 100th day of school. This exciting milestone marks 100 days of learning, growing, and making new friendships. Over the past 100 days, our Prep students have built confidence, developed new skills, and created many wonderful memories. It was great having the opportunity to celebrate this amazing achievement.
Book Fair & Book Week
Keep an eye out for our upcoming Book Fair later this term! We'll also be celebrating Book Week with our annual student parade. More information about both events will be shared in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your continued support of our school community. Together, we can ensure every child has a positive and successful term. Best wishes for a fantastic Term 3.
