Year 7

Our Year 7 students have had a full and busy term three so far, throwing themselves into college life with fantastic energy and enthusiasm.

Since our last newsletter, our cohort had the wonderful opportunity to attend a special incursion organised for us by the Arts and English departments, where we were entertained by the renowned Bell Shakespeare theatre company, who introduced the students to the world of Shakespeare with a vibrant, contemporary twist. It was an engaging and educational experience that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.

In addition to their cultural pursuits, the students also completed their recent vaccination days. I was incredibly proud of how our Year 7s conducted themselves. Everyone was very brave, supporting one another through the day with great maturity.

Upcoming Events and Key Dates

As we look ahead, we have some important events on the horizon for our future community members:

• New Student Information Evening

  • Date: Thursday 10 September

  • Time: 5:45pm arrival for a 6:00pm start (concluding at 7:00pm)

  • Details: This evening is for all students and their parents who will be commencing at St Norbert College in 2027, across Years 7 to 11.

     

• Year 7 (2027) Placement Testing

  • Date: Thursday 17 September

  • Details: All incoming Year 7 students for 2027 will join us on campus to complete their placement testing.

We are greatly looking forward to welcoming these new students and their families into the St Norbert College community over the coming weeks and helping them begin their own exciting journey with us.
